Best AI sales tools for teams without a dedicated SDR

Nobody here opened a paid seat. This is scored on what vendors publish and on what 35,870 people said after they paid. Read, checked and scored. Not tried.

Review evidence: the review sites disagree, and that is the story

Three of these tools score well on the platforms vendors curate and badly on the one they do not. HubSpot sits at 4.54 on Capterra and 1.6 on Trustpilot across 1,142 reviews. Apollo is 4.7 on G2 and 3.0 on Trustpilot across 1,222. Seamless.ai is 4.4 on G2 and 1.3 on Trustpilot.

The complaints are not about features. They are about billing, cancellation and being unable to reach a human once money has changed hands. That is exactly the part of a purchase a review site with a demo button does not measure.

GoHighLevel is the exception in the other direction: 4.9 on Trustpilot across 14,623 reviews, with staff repeatedly named as patient and helpful, against a more modest 4.16 on Capterra.

Seamless.ai sells annual credit packages and holds a 1.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot, where reviewers describe forced auto-renewals and cancellations they could not get processed.

Price clarity: five of seven will not tell you

Apollo, Reply.io, Seamless.ai and Leadfeeder publish no readable entry price. You get a demo form. Only two will say what they cost before a sales call: HubSpot publishes tiered Sales Hub pricing, and GoHighLevel publishes $50 a month per sub-account.

allin1 is my own product and publishes a bring-your-own-key model at roughly $20 to $50 a month in AI costs at cost price. It still scores 4.4, because 21 reviews is not evidence.

Data handling: only two publish anything worth reading

HubSpot publishes SOC 2 Type 2, SOC 3 and penetration test summaries, which is why it takes the top score despite its support record. Apollo and Leadfeeder state GDPR compliance. Reply.io, Seamless.ai, GoHighLevel and allin1 publish nothing we could read on data handling, and all four are marked down for it.

Setup and support: where the scores separate

Reply.io earns the highest support score here: reviewers repeatedly name proactive, responsive customer success managers. GoHighLevel scores well on support volume but has the steepest learning curve, at 3.71 for ease of use on Capterra, which is the price of an all-in-one.

Seamless.ai is the opposite: usable enough, but the support and cancellation record drags everything down.
